¡@ ¡@ Jin-Gang-Dhyana is a sect of Chinese Esoteric Buddhism.  Jin-Gang-Dhyana originated from Tibetan Esoteric Buddhism Grand Master Padmasambhava's thirty-six volumes of Inner and Outer Tantra as well as Chinese Esoteric Buddhism Grand Masters Vajra-Bodhi's and Subhakarasimha's 3,800 volumes of Akasagarbha Dharma.  The dissemination of Jin-Gang-Dhyana was propagated by the recent lineage holder, the Ahdharma-Dharma-Body-Buddha Jing-Wu Dharmaraja.

¡@ ¡@ In Chinese history, Esoteric Buddhism was remarkably well developed during the Tang and Yuan Dynasties.  However, Ming emperors banned Esoteric Buddhism, resulting in Esoteric Buddhism being transmitted undercover for more than a thousand years.  At late Qing Dynasty and early Republic (1920-1950 A.D.), Esoteric Buddhism resurged.  From 1950, under the special political environment of mainland China, Esoteric Buddhism has been transmitted privately.  By 1979, Esoteric Buddhism practitioners gradually disclosed the self-defence Jin-Gang-Dhyana Wu-Chan to the public.  Later, they further made known to the public Jing-Chan (meditation Dhyana).  In 1989, Jin-Gang-Dhyana's Patriarch Master WANG Xin-De travelled to the world and started an upsurge in "Jin-Gang-Dhyana Practice Awareness".

¡@ ¡@ Jin-Gang-Dhyana emphasizes on both theory and actual practice, and advocates kind compassion and wisdom.  To learn and practise Dhyana methods, students are not initially required to believe in Jin-Gang-Dhyana's Buddhist's theories.  Only when they have gained realization through implementation of the practice then would they learn Buddha Dharma.  This way of teaching does not violate the traditional rules of Jin-Gang-Dhyana but it enables the reception of people of whatever aptitude.

¡@ ¡@ Therefore, Jin-Gang-Dhyana is open to all with whatever religious belief and has entertained the interest and participation of believers of various religions.  Elementary Jin-Gang-Dhyana practice does not necessitate enrolment, does not require sutra chanting or hymn singing.  Practitioners are not required to identify themselves as believers of Jin-Gang-Dhyana nor do they have to pay any fees.

¡@ ¡@ Through Jin-Gang-Dhyana practice, one would experience physical and mental harmony, tranquillity, comfort and Dharma joy.  Sicknesses will be cured in the process, even cancers and other incurable diseases.

¡@ ¡@ An incomprehensive survey of the scope of influence of the practice and realization of Jin-Gang-Dhyana estimated the following:-

¡@ ¡@ 1989 - more than 130,000 people scattered over 16 countries;

¡@ ¡@ 1991 - more than 200,000;

¡@ ¡@ 1992 - more than 500,000; and due to the migration flux from Hong Kong to the rest of the world, Jin-Gang-Dhyana practitioners spread rapidly to over thirty countries and regions.  By 1993, there were more than 1,500,000 people who have experienced Jin-Gang-Dhyana.  Among the practitioners, there were many Christians, Catholics and followers of other religions.

¡@ ¡@ When stricken by cancers, with doctors helpless and medicines ineffective, a lot of people have been trying out Jin-Gang-Dhyana practice to transform their body and mind to return healthy.

¡@ ¡@ The heart-disciples of Jin-Gang-Dhyana Patriarch Master WANG Xin-De constitute the academic core of Jin-Gang-Dhyana Buddhist Dharma.  They have to observe strict traditional Jin-Gang-Dhyana discipline and possess advanced attainment in practice and realization.  They have established The International Jin-Gang-Dhyana Association which headquarters at 15 Randall Street, Sandy Bay, Tasmania 7005, Australia.  Any Jin-Gang-Dhyana disciple, follower or student intending to join the Association, would need to follow the organization's procedures and undergo checking of qualifications.

¡@ ¡@ Throughout the year, the world's Jin-Gang-Dhyana followers go on pilgrimage individually or in groups to pay respect to Headquarter's Grand Temple Ahdharma Palace and Jin-Gang-Dhyana Patriarch Master WANG Xin-De (zhi4-ji2-ren2-bo1-qie1-Alaksana-Vajra).  This adds variety to the multi-culture of Australia, a world renowned tourist favourite spot, and also increases the splendour of Tasmania.
